Kathryn's black (purple) eye

After spending 10 minutes encouraging and finally succeeding in getting a student to get on a bus, Kathryn turned around and walked away. Right into a metal pole. :(

Here are a couple of pictures of the night it happened (below) and then what it looks like today (above).

Nick and his girlfriend Sarah came down and we saw Terminator in the theaters and then went out to the Forbes Mill restaurant here in Danville. It was wonderful food, and we would love to take anyone there that comes and visits. :)

Oh, Kathryn, that looks so painful! You are such a good sport for letting Jeremy blog your picture! But we think our whole family learned that about you both after your hike with Thain in the tunnels and mud on Kauai! We love you and are looking forward to seeing you soon! Mom & Dad

Ouch! We should call you Deven Jr. He always has something like that. Right now it's a scraped up nose, well actually everything scraped up from a spill on his bike. You both are so tough to keep on going! Love you guys!

That looks like it was pretty painful! That was a big black eye and goose egg! Hope it's not hurting much now. The resteraunt and terminator thing sounded like a lot of fun too...we'd love to go there to eat if we ever get out that way like we've been wanting! Terminator was pretty good too though I didn't think it had to end like that! Did you both like it? Great to hear from you both!

We would love to have you and Thain whenever you can. I agree about Terminator, I didn't really like the ending, but the rest of it was good.

So....Isn't life full of surprises and poles in the most unuseful places? Sorry Kathryn. John would like to see Terminator, but life keeps happening....I did take the kids to see UP! on Saturday. It was amazing. Great story line and just the right amount of cry then laugh...We'll go see it again with John this time. Hope everyone is great!

OUCH! That looks horrible. Hope it's on the mend.

P.S. I can't believe you let Jeremy post pictures of it. =)

That said, ouch! Sorry Kathryn!
