Keeping in touch

This is our first family post. This should be a fun way to keep connected. The authors allowed to edit this blog are Granny, Dad, Mom, John, Cris, Colby, Brianna, Aiden, Jen, Nate, Emily, Ben, Deven, Jill, Thain, Justin, Alisa, Jeremy, and Kathryn... We'll see how this goes!

Here are some pictures from Mom and a fun email from Jeremy:

Dad's new "Justin" hair cut. Looking good!

Jeremy and Kathryn on moving day into their new house. Exciting times! Now we need a picture of Jeremy's stunts while riding his bike to work. Do the 17 minutes include the front flip off the bike? :)
John and Aiden on John's birthday.

Teenage Colby that changes and grows as fast as the little cousins do!

First note from Jeremy: Hi Family, That idea sounds good to me.. I do sometimes feel distant from the family, and I think it is a great idea Jen! I just watched "into the wild" which made me think about how important you all are to me. :) So a quick update from me.. Since this was a short week, my team worked from home, so I am taking the opportunity to also work from home. I am trying to catch up on things that need to be done around our new house. :) Kathryn is extremely busy and stressed with all she is doing right now. She had her last IEP of this year on Tuesday, and she is finishing up both teaching and school on the 12th. I am really proud of her! I just fixed up my bike, as I intend to ride it to work now that I live close enough. I got back from a trial run riding it to work and back, and I was timing myself on my iphone. As I was about to arrive back at the house, I took out the iphone to see what my time was. I had to brake at the same time, and I squeezed the front brake to hard, and ended up flipping over my bike. In mid air, I got the brilliant notion to protect the iPhone, and ended up skinning up my hand to protect it. .. It took me 17 minutes to get to work if anyone was wondering.. :) We are both really looking forward to Hawaii! In gmail there are sponsored links on the side bar that have to do with the contents of the email chain. I thought the sponsored links were pretty funny, so I included them in a screen grab and I am attaching it to the email. Love,Jeremy
